Code of Conduct Rules and Regulations of †Ð×†, 1 We are a multi-gaming squad, currently playing Delta Force Black Hawk Down + Call Of Duty 4, We are here to play hard, play fair, and have fun! 2 †Ð×† soldiers are honor-bound to display respect to other squads and soldiers. Remember that you are representing †Ð×† Never argue with other players during game play. If you have an issue with another player, wait until after the match or practice and address it with the FOUNDERS of †Ð×† or other Command element. 3 No foul language or vulgar and inappropriate material in our forums (including sigs), Ventrilo, or in game servers will be tolerated under no circumstances. This is STRICTLY enforced! We have worked hard to earn respect in the Gaming community, let’s keep that respect! 4 Never harass another or belittle another player. Never complain about lag. The host probably already knows about it, and chances are has done everything possible to reduce it. If it is too bad, thank them for the games, and find another server with less lag. 5 You are expected to participate in official training meetings. We understand that school, work, family, etc. are more important than these games! Just let the FOUNDERS or OFFICERS know if you will not be present at a practice or a match. If you cannot be present, a space will be available under the Members Only section of the Forums for this purpose. 6 Wear your †Ð×† Tag and Call Sign correctly and proudly at ALL times. This identifies you as an official member of †Ð×†. If you do not wear it correctly, we will assume you no longer want to be a member, and will take appropriate actions. 7 Cheaters are not tolerated! †Ð×† prohibits the use of any type of modifications to the published games. No exceptions!!! If you are caught cheating in ANY server, you will immediately be banned from †Ð×† and any †Ð×† servers+Allies will be notified also! Any accusations will be fully investigated, with the accused having the benefit of the doubt. If positive proof is presented, YOU WILL BE BANNED!!! No warnings, and no second chances. If you suspect anyone of cheating, get screenshots or some other form of proof and present it to the FOUNDERS,OFFICERS. DO NOT accuse a person of cheating while playing. Make sure you have proof before making accusations. If you do not have proof, don’t make the accusation at all! This is something we take very seriously, so be positive before pointing the finger. 8 Our most important rule: †Ð×† plays for fun! Have pride in †Ð×† !!!! Remember that whenever you are wearing your †Ð×† tag, you are representing the whole team. Play hard, play clean, and have fun!!! MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS (You must fill out an application requesting membership). 1 You must have the full version of Delta Force Black Hawk Down and the newest available updates or Call Of Duty 4 and the newest available updates 2 You must have MSN 3 You must have Ventrilo as primary voice communication. 4 You must register on the website so you have access the forums and you must read and post in forums on a continual basis (at least twice per week). This is a major form of communication with the squad about important issues. 5 Membership in any other Delta Force Black Hawk Down squad or any Call Of Duty 4 squads is grounds for immediate dismissal. No exceptions! In order to fully enjoy †Ð×† membership, you should be prepared to participate at least 2 hours one evening each week and participate in Mandatory Squad Night each week. If you cannot make it for Mandatory Squad night, please make this time up on another night during the week and post in the forums to the affect that you cannot make †Ð×† Squad Night that week. NEW APPLICANTS MEMBERSHIP IN †Ð×† DEPENDS MORE ON ATTITUDE THAN A BODY COUNT!!! WE PLAY TO HAVE FUN!!! Please feel free to join any †Ð×† server either in Delta Force Black Hawk Down or on Call Of Duty 4. This will increase your exposure to †Ð×† team members. If you make a favorable impression, you may be asked to join the team. If invited to try-out by a †Ð×† Recruiter, come in and play with the team members, so they can get to know you and you know the team. If you have inspirations of becoming a member of †Ð×† you may fill out an application, which will let our members know to watch for you in our servers and observe how you play and conduct yourself. Once an application is filled out, we will contact you as soon as possible regarding the steps to be taken. If we feel you are the type of player we are looking for in †Ð×† we will ask you to become a member. ALL NEW MEMBERS WILL BE ON A PROBATIONARY PERIOD, After this time, †Ð×† Squad will vote on your acceptance as a full member of †Ð×† and will bear the identification as FULL MEMBER in the roster. CALL SIGN AND BATTLE TAG GUIDELINES Call Sign: 1 Your call sign is your †Ð×† identification in the gaming community. You will become well-known by your †Ð×† Call sign. Choose it carefully. 2 Regulations require that call signs be no longer than 10 characters (without †Ð×† tag). 3 Make sure the call sign you choose is one that will last you throughout your time with †Ð×† . Changing call signs is STRONGLY discouraged, and permitted ONLY under special circumstances. Your call sign will also contain no vulgarity or be of an offensive nature. Battle Tag: 1 Battle Tags are based upon the concept of initials or an abbreviated call sign and greatly improve on-field visibility. 2 Battle Tags are used during official battles and scrimmages. They may be used during designated practices to familiarize new members with the team’s tags. 3 Battle Tags are assigned based on the team member’s call sign. DEFINITION OF INACTIVITY: 1 A team member who fails to show up for Mandatory Squad Night TWO WEEKS consecutively without posting notification in the forum space provided for this purpose, and/or fails to play in a †Ð×† server, post in the forums, and be in Ventrilo at least twice per week, unless you have otherwise posted to this affect or notified your commanding officer you will be absent, shall be classified as inactive. Any team member absent due to Military Duties will be exempt from all rules concerning inactivity. IDENTIFICATION OF INACTIVE MEMBERS: 1 When †Ð×† FOUNDERS determines a member is inactive, Either a FOUNDER OR OFFICER shall contact the member by ICQ or email notification and include the following information: a Present facts illustrating inactivity/low activity. b Present all of the member’s current options (which are as follows). Dedicate more time to the squad for mandatory events. Request to be put on Approved Inactivity Duty (Must be approved by the founders). While on Approved Inactive Duty List, you must post in the forums every THIRTY DAYS as to your absence and your desire to remain on the squad or you will be removed from the team roster and receive a General Discharge. Request an Honorable Discharge. We require a reply within 7 days of date of initial ICQ or email notification for an Honorable Discharge. If the operative does not reply within the given time, the operative will receive a General Discharge from †Ð×†. REPEATED INACTIVE MEMBERS: 1 When †Ð×† FOUNDERS determines a member is inactive once again, the member will be reassigned to Unapproved Inactive Duty without any preceding notification. 2 The reassignment to Unapproved Inactive Duty will be done immediately. As of this point, †Ð×† FOUNDERS handles further actions with the operative. RETURN TO ACTIVE DUTY: 1 If the approved inactive member is ready to return for active duty, he will be reactivated upon request. Any inactive member can leave the squad if desired by contacting the FOUNDERS,OFFICERS by ICQ,MSN or posting in our forums. The departing member will receive an Honorable Discharge. RE-ENLISTMENT: Generally, †Ð×† does not permit former members to re-enlist in the squad. Exceptions may occur, with the final decision being made by †Ð×† FOUNDERS. REQUESTING TO JOIN †Ð×† VERIFIES THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS SECTION AND YOU HAVE AGREED TO ALL TERMS SET FORTH IN OUR CODE OF CONDUCT. ANYONE THAT DOES NOT ABIDE BY THESE SQUAD RULES WILL BE DEALT WITH IN THE APPROPRIATE MANNER. THESE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS DEEMED NECESSARY.
